Join us at the Strand Saturday, July 9 at 7 PM for Les Cowboys, a modern day, real world take on John Ford's The Searchers. Instead of John Wayne riding across the desert to find Natalie Wood, this time it is Alain who cannot let the disappearance of his daughter go. He rides out over and over to find her; and like John Wayne, he is not sure what he will do when he finds her especially if she has "gone native." This time, there's no Indians; the "savages" are Muslims and the American frontier has been replaced by Europe and eventually the Middle East. A serious drama in French with English subtitles.
