Holy smokes, it's been 80 years since The Lady Eve first made audiences laugh.
It's on a Friday? Yes, this is a free movie for the night after Thanksgiving, so everyone can get out of the house after having their leftovers.
An eligible, socially awkward heir to a brewery empire (Henry Fonda) boards a cruise ship bound for New York and soon becomes the target of the single ladies on the vessel, as well as a trio of card sharks out to swindle the pushover out of his money, until one of them (Barbara Stanwyck) starts to fall for him romantically.
