A doctor in Vicksburg named Legrand Capers told a wild tale eleven years after the war of a bullet that miraculously impregnated a Southern Belle. The film explores this myth in three separate stories.

Travis Mills - Filmmaker, the director, will be in attendance along with members of the cast and crew.

first Secret Movie:

Nicholas Cage in
Mandy

Why would we have a secret movie? Well, sometimes a movie might be too extreme for some people, so we decided that just because a movie isn't for everybody doesn't mean it doesn't have an audence. So, we hope to give edgier films a place (the Strand) and a time (ten o'clock) for those who want to experience them.

If you have followed the career of Nicholas cage, you likely cannot be shocked or surprised at what he gets up to in Mandy, an instant cult film from 2018.

The quiet life of devoted couple Red (Nicolas Cage, Leaving Las Vegas) and Mandy (Andrea Riseborough, Birdman) takes a dark and bizarre turn when a nightmarish cult and their maniacal leader (Linus Roache, "Vikings") seek to possess Mandy...body and soul. A shocking assault on the innocent pair leads to a spiraling, surreal, bloody rampage of all out, mind-altering vengeance. "Certainly not for the faint of heart" (The Hollywood Reporter), Mandy is "a primal, psychedelic rage-scream of a movie" (Slash Film).

So, a horror film, an action movie, a revenge thriller. You have been warned.

Director: Panos Cosmatos
Starring: Nicolas Cage, Andrea Riseborough, Linus Roache, Bill Duke, Richard Brake
