Retired gunfighter Tash Beckett finds a home in the town of Bountiful, but soon the past comes calling. A Western about redemption, sacrifice, and doing what is right.
Eric and Sweepy appear as outlaws in Bountiful, a 112-minute western written and directed by Paul Winters, who also stars as retired gunfighter Tash Beckett. Eric Roberts plays the outlaw Black Jack Curtis. The cast also includes Patrick Kilpatrick, Rachel Alig, Jf Davis, Bourke Floyd and Mark Speno.
It was shot at the historic Mescal Movie Set outside Benson, Arizona, the same standing town where 'Tombstone' and 'The Quick and the Dead' were filmed.
The independent feature western Bountiful is taking a different path to audiences, launching a multi-state theatrical roadshow through historic theaters and community cinemas across the American West and beyond.
The filmmaker-driven tour celebrates the tradition of seeing westerns on the big screen while supporting independent theaters that continue to serve as cultural gathering places in their communities.
Each stop will feature special screenings, filmmaker introductions, and audience Q&A sessions with members of the cast and creative team.
"We wanted audiences to experience Bountiful the way westerns were meant to be seen-together, on the big screen," said producer Patty Winters. "This roadshow is about more than sharing a film. It's about bringing people together, celebrating independent theaters, and honoring the storytelling traditions that have made westerns an enduring part of American cinema."
